This module aims to help clinical supervisors better identify and aid students who are struggling in their placement. Participants are presented with hypothetical situations where students appear to be experiencing significant difficulties in their placement and are invited to reflect on what is going on and identify what the potential causes of the problem may be. Warning signs that may indicate significant personal and / or mental health problems are identified and advice is given about options that are available to supervisors and where to seek further assistance.
